All day. Every day.

Lavender, peppermint and honeybush -- this is a perfect trio. Looking for a comfy nightcap, lavender will soothe your nerves. Need a refreshing afternoon iced tea, peppermint will cool you off on a hot day. The added support of honeybush and its potent polyphenols make this an absolute tea-cabinet staple.

Siply Suggestions:

For a full-flavored cup of Lavender Mint, steep for five minutes in boiled (212°) water. It’s great served hot, cold or as a tea latte. On a hot summer day, brew and chill for a cooling kid-friendly iced tea. At night, steep and sip with a splash of coconut milk. It also makes a great caffeine free butter tea. It’s delicious any way you spin it.

Feeling adventurous? Lavender Mint acts as a fantastic base for homemade jello and ice cream. Go ahead, get creative.

Looking for a deeper tea practice? Each Siply loose leaf tea comes with a simple breath exercise in the instructions to help you get centered.

Want to know more?

Lavender Mint is a part of our Red Herbal Collection. Though these herbal concoctions may look like teas, alas, they are not. Because they do not come from the tea plant, Camellia sinensis, they are what we in the industry call “tisanes”. This means they are naturally caffeine free and have different therapeutic qualities than the other collections. Studies suggest that the flavonoids in honeybush may have the power to reduce oxidative stress and inflammation, furthermore preventing DNA damage.

Here at Siply, we like bold flavorful tisanes. That’s why you’ll find us sipping on a cuppa from our Red Herbal Collection at all hours.

A word on our packaging…

As lovers of this planet, we want to do everything we can to take care of it.

Did you know that an estimated 8 million tonnes of plastic enters the ocean every year? That includes recyclable plastic. Only about 9% of plastic is actually recycled.* Single use plastic packaging is a big offender. If you can’t reuse, recycle or repurpose, it’s headed for the landfill.

That’s why we are doing our part by reducing single use plastic with our Responsible Packaging Initiative.

Here’s how it works:

1) Pick up your favorite Siply tea packaged in one of our Collectible Tins.

2) When you run out, grab our Compostable Refill Bag to fill up your Collectible Tin.

3) When you’re really committed, snag a Compostable Bulk Bag to save money and resources.

Fun fact: Once composted, our bags break down within FOUR MONTHS. Cool, right?

Also cool: Every piece of Siply tea packaging is made in the USA.

The tea lives up to it's name! The tea is beautiful, aromatic, and tastes amazing. Wonderful hot or cold (it's 105 degrees here currently!).

    Lavender Mint Tea

We were visiting Austin and I bought this tea at a Farmers market there. Initially I balked at the price but after tasting it I am committed and just ordered 2 more! Yes, it is that good. Worth every sip. A feast for the senses in every season - spring, summer, winter, or fall.

I love the African Honey tea which serves as the base for this tea. Add some lavender and mint and this tea is a light, sweet treat.
