Why Tea? Why Ghee?

Tea contains polyphenols, flavonoids, EGCG and L-theanine, which have been shown to have powerful health effects. Specifically, studies have suggested that drinking tea may decrease depression, diabetes, liver and heart disease.

Butter recently made a status jump after clinical studies debunked popular myths linking saturated fats to heart disease. Grass-fed butter is especially beneficial, as it contains higher amounts of CLA and omega-3 fatty acids than its grain-fed counter part.

At Siply, we use local grass-fed butter to make ghee, which removes the lactose and casein for the dairy intolerant folk. Ghee has a much higher smoke point than most fats and does not spoil easily, making it a great cooking oil too!

Mix your tea with ghee and you've got a cup of energizing brain food to nourish your mind, body and soul.
